I have some very exciting news! I’m proud and happy to be working with some of the best bakers and food makers in Asheville to bring you my favorite treats, in the form of something I’m calling Stoobie Snacks!

What is it? It’s essentially a snack club! Whoop! Whoop! Could anything be more fun than a snack club? Nope. Literally nothing could be more fun than a snack club. Oh, wait wait wait, it also comes with a free toy, and a coloring page! So, yeah, snack club just got more fun.

SO, WHAT IS THE FIRST EVER STOOBIE SNACK?

The very first Stoobie Snack will be created by Chef Jay Medford from the Underground Cafe with Doughp Doughnuts!

A native of Asheville, Chef Jay is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute in NYC. He worked in New York for years before moving back to Asheville, and purchasing the Underground Cafe, where he rocks out some of the best — and some of my personal favorite — food in town, including his super-popular and delicious Doughp Doughnuts.

ULTRA-RARE FILLED DOUGHNUT!

If you are a fan and frequent buyer of Doughp Doughnuts, you already know that Jay almost NEVER does filled doughnuts. Straight-up: They are a pain in the butt.

Jellies, Bavarians, and my personal absolute favorite, Boston Creme, are rarely seen in Jay’s doughnut case. Well, I’m super-stoked to announce that…

The very first Stoobie Snack will be a LARGE, scratch-made, custard-filled BOSTON CREME DOUGHNUT produced in a super small batch exclusively for you, the Stoobie Snack club!

I don’t have a picture of one, of course, because they ain’t been made yet, so here’s an approximation of what it will look like, and yes, each actual doughnut will have a face on it.

Jay always uses as many local and all-natural ingredients as possible, including local eggs & butter from Farm to Home Milk.

No fake stuff! This is the real deal.

Jay has only made Boston Creme doughnuts for the shop ONCE in the past. I had one. I’m from Boston, and Boston Creme is my all-time #1 super-star favorite doughnut flavor ever. Jay’s made my eyes roll into the back of my head.

• Your Stoobie Snacks will be available for you to pick-up, with no contact, from my front porch near the South Slope! The address and instructions will be provided once your purchase is made
• The pick-up date is FRIDAY JUNE 5TH
• Pick-ups will be staggered so as to avoid a cluster.
