Dear Stu,
I want to agree with your assessment on the coconut cake at Blackbird – what a dissapointment – and I love coconut cake.
I do wish you would cut Glass Onion some slack – not great, but good and when you live way up this way (Madison county) not much around. Also you liked Well Bred — which I have to say – they cook their food ahead of time, I am not a fan of old, stale food.
enjoy your reviews

Stu, thank you so much for the delightful tour Saturday morning it was really appreciated. I was the one with the broken foot. All of the food was delicious and personally I thought the coconut cake was delicious, but so was everything else. Some of the scenery around Asheville was quite odd to me but that is not your fault.

I will forever cite you as an example of a True Food Tour Trooper! It was such a pleasure to have you on the tour and to spend some time with you, Thank you for being such a positive energy force on the tour! “Odd” scenery indeed! Asheville never fails to be… Asheville! :)
