In my continuing AVL Wing Thing quest, I encountered a wing that is almost as impossible to pronounce as it was to resist from Chef Andrew McLeod at Avenue M!
My mom and I ventured out to dine-in at Avenue M, and had a feast to beat all feasts!

Got those Bling Wings from Chef Chazzy at at Deli Llammma food truck. You can’t really tell from these pictures, but these wings are covered in edible glitter! They looked stunning! It’s Birthday Season, Y’all (July 1 – June 30) and in my family, we have a bunch of them stacked-up right at the beginning. My GF Dawn’s is first, mine is next, and then our nephew is up, and my mom’s really ain’t too long after that. So, what’s my point? My point is WTF?!?
I began writing this column in the weeks leading up to the City-wide closure of restaurants, and the state-wide stay-at-home order. Obviously, the food scene in Asheville, along with everywhere else in America, came to a screeching halt, and my own life changed tremendously due to the run-away Coronavirus here in the States. So, I’m just now getting around to finishing this post up now, in late May. I will indicate where Thank you for your patience.
