At the half-hour, we are joined by Anne Livengood, who is the co-owner of an exercise company called Soundbarre. Anne worked with several local chefs who created healthy, delicious recipes, to help uplift people in body, mind, and spirit. We talk about healthy food, and Anne ALMOST reveals herself to be a crime-fighting super hero!

Here are four of the recipes that Chef Reza Setayesh, former owner of Rezaz and Piazza, provided for Anne’s Soundbarre Boot Camp. Click on the thumbnails to see larger version.
We wrap up with Anne about 12 mins before the show ends so that Joe and I can talk about Food Fest Season, which is upon us! We mention The Food Truck Showdown, Loaded Up and Truckin’ Food Truck Off + Aural Pleasure Fest, Asheville Bread Festival, Carolina Mountain Cheese Fest, The Spring Herb Festival, RampFest, Asheville Wine & Food Festival (Elixir, Sweet, Grand Tasting), Asheville VegFest: A Celebration of Vegan Food and Drink!, LEAF Community Arts, Livermush Festival, Blue Ridge BBQ and Music Festival, Asheville VeganFest, Spruce Pine BBQ and Bluegrass, WNC Battle of the Burger, and Organicfest.
As I said, it’s a fun show, Anne plays along with me and Joe as we goof around, and we all have a lot of laughs. I hope you do too!
