After the Food news we are joined by our special guest, Dano Holcomb from Root Down food truck, who is awesome, and we had a lot of laughs together! Find out about Dano’s roots in Chicago Illinois, and how he got to Asheville via NOLA to bring us his amazing Cajun influenced food! Also, he showed-up with mason jars of hot pepper jelly for us!

Then at the end of the show, Joe and I talk briefly about “Fine Dining.” I touch on the evening that Dawn and I spent at Eleven Madison Park, and Joe and I relate it back to Asheville. Joe mentions the Inn on Biltmore as the only place in town that approaches a “fine dining” level of service. I also mention Table Asheville and Red Stag Grill as two places that could possibly go in that direction.
