THIS JUST IN: Well Played Board Game Café to Celebrate 1-year Anniversary
with “Draft-a-Dragon” Board Game Release Party Designed by Head Gamemaster!
###
Asheville, NC—Today, Well Played announced they are hosting a board game release party on Friday, March 30 th at 7pm to celebrate their first year in business.
The new game Draft-a-Dragon, is designed by Well Played’s Head Gamemaster Tanner Johnson. “Having opened one year ago, we’re thankful that Well Played has been embraced by the
Asheville community, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than by releasing a locally designed board game from our own Gamemaster,” says co-owner Cortland Mercer.
Starting at 7pm, designer Tanner Johnson and illustrator William Ritter will demo the game and provide copies for attendees to play. A special, limited edition print of Draft-a-Dragon
celebrating the 1-year anniversary of Well Played will also be available for purchase.
Similar to other whimsical card drafting games like Sushi Go, the object of Draft-a- Dragon is to score points by assembling the ultimate mythical dragon. Draft-a- Dragon takes only 15-20
minutes to complete, can be played with groups of 2-6, and is recommended for ages 12+.
About the game, Johnson offers, “Draft-a-Dragon is the result of two years of hard work and combines easy game mechanics with a super fun theme. Whether you love supporting local game
designers, or just like dragons, we hope to see you at Well Played on March 30th.”
Simultaneously with the 1-year anniversary celebration, Draft-a- Dragon will launch a Kickstarter campaign: http://kck.st/2IbtmGU
